LeanBoard Founder Enzo at the Maryhill Spring Free-4-All

In April, founder and head engineer Enzo Shinde was out in the boonies of eastern Washington state to check out the Maryhill Spring Free-4-All. Put on by The Maryhill Ratz crew, the Free-4-All is as awesome as it sounds - anyone, from pro to newbie, can ride the world famous hill on any gravity powered vehicle.
Enzo was wandering around with a LeanBoard at his side (as usual), checking out the event when Kurtis Head, pro luger and founder of Maryhill, called him over to check out his board. Not too long after, Ryan Farmer (pro luger from the OC) and Mike “Papdog” Paproski (Photographer and pro luger) also came up to check out the board and hear the specs.
Before long, Kurtis, Ryan, and Papdog were telling Enzo he had to give the hill a try. Enzo was at Maryhill just to check out the event and he didn’t have any intention of actually riding the hill, but when some of downhill’s greatest start encouraging you to try it, you do what they say. As soon as he said he would, several people offered up their gear to try out down the hill, and on his third run, Enzo decided to butt board the LeanBoard down the Maryhill Loops too. Pic here.
“It was awesome,” said Enzo. “Everyone at the event was so cool and friendly, and just offered up their boards and luges to take down the hill. I decided to just try it.” Enzo’s already calendered Maryhill 2019. See you there!
